Due to certain circumstances beyond my control I find myself in need of money over another bike, and sadly must part with the Frankenbeemer.
I probably will pick up another beatup Brick at some point, but now it should find another enthusiast.
1986 K100, 65,000 miles or so.
Runs good, smokes on startup a bit, like they all do.
Valves set, clean tank, good pump, new filter, new brake pads, new cover gasket and bolt seals. Crappy plastic power socket replaced with a heavy duty metal one. Side and center stand are late-model, not bent, not rusty. Clutch-sidestand interlock works properly.
Speedometer and clock work, GPI is out.
No transmission or clutch problems
Does have a drippy water pump seal, not a major leak.
Comes with two sets of side cases, one fairly beatup, one less beatup. Iconic top case included, I just never used it.
Also, small clamp-on windshield.
I have a bike trailer, so if you are not unreasonably far and don't lowball me, delivery can be arranged.
