Title: rpossum K1200RS Thread
Post by: rpossum on August 21, 2019, 12:12:24 AM: My K1200RS has had the main seal and clutch done once... about 17,000 miles ago... but it's starting to feel slippy again lately...

Please tell me more... I'd love to know more about this...

Clutches need to be adjusted regularly or they will slip. Adjust your clutch. Look in here (http://motobavaria.com/docs/k1200rs_02-04.pdf).

Just finished replacing the crankcase cover... while I was in there, I re-siliconed the valve cover, which had been leaking a little (at least I think that's where the leak was coming from)

I've dug through there and can't find anything about adjusting the clutch, but I did find this elsewhere. Is that the adjustment you are talking about?

its gotts a master on the perch and a hose down to the trans... gonna have to bleed it... gotts to remove the hose at the trans and bleed it like you bleed brakes...

follow the oe instructins or you will f-it up for sure...
