With the motorcycle freshly serviced, prepared and legal, I'm ready to ride. Won't have time for a long ride for a few more days but the siren song of fog yesterday morning had me out on the road. I underestimated the character of the fog -- denser than usual and more moisture as well which made it difficult to keep visor and eyeglasses clear. Even so, the landscape is transformed in fog and I can't pass it up. I only saw one or two other vehicles until I rode over Mt. Nittany and under bright sun and clearing skies. And like so many rides, they end at some cafe, restaurant or watering hole to consider what just happened.
The final stop was at the Pump Station Cafe in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania. I find myself here frequently since it's just down the street from my home.

I ride a naked moto without a wind screen. My cold weather gloves have a wiper built into the left glove's thumb but my warm weather gloves don't so I add one of these (https://www.aerostich.com/clothing/rain-gear/rain-gear/aerostich-veewipe-squeegee.html). It works well for fog moisture clearing from the face shield.

Thanks for the heads up on the wiper. Aerostich has just about everything. I'll have to get one and hope I don't lose it. Little items seem to run away from me.

I thought those finger/thumb wipers were rather gimmicky until I scored a pair of BMW summer gloves at a close-out price. They do work quite well.

This site packs in so much information! I really hadn't considered how windy a cheese factory could be. The mere thought makes my blood curdle.
