Nice!  it is on my "bucket list" to someday occupy hwy 1 in a similar fashion.  It's just so darn far away!

Just my .02 but that's a horrible time to ride Highway 1.  The number of rental cars and RVs doing 20mph is crazy.

The best time to do it is mid-week when school is in session. October though April.  That way you pretty much have the road all to yourself.

Yea, there's that, but it will be during the week, we will have about 10 days to do it.

Yeh, that's on my list too, alright. Know anyone who's done the Al-Can? That would be one of the ultimates, I'm thinkin'.
