I have an Eclipse tankbag that I use daily during riding season but was about to replace because the main compartment zipper wouldn't work despite how I gently tweaked the pull. It's been a useful bag but the company isn't making them anymore. The next choice would have been an RKA Sonoman but it is ~$215—money I'd rather spend on fuel. Then I came across the attached video.
I've used the graphite technique, the petroleum jelly technique and the pinch technique. The bag is back in service! Furthermore, some of these techniques have worked to restore the clinching of waterproof zippers on the pockets of my riding overpants.
I had to repeat them a couple of times but they work. Try them when needed.

That video is lacking a certain je ne sais quoi.
Your technique of pinch and petroleum jelly would be titillating!
Post up a video for your channel subscribers :cool_shades:

I don't have a channel; you seem to be my only follower and you've already gotten off just thinking about it. No thanks necessary.
