You know the part, you know why I need it. Anyone holding?

What you needs depends on the year of your moto's fuel tank. Does the part have a float or not?
-
He's got 87 k75 in the signature so we'd have to assume it's a float type.
-
. . . we'd have to assume it's a float type.
Considering parts are swapped on these motos with regularity and confirmation is a simple process, assumption seems as pointless here as anywhere else.

I bet you a Latte there's a metal rod thingy with a large ping pong ball stuck on the end inside OP's fuel tank

You're on! rbm can hold the PayPal notes, and fatality can supply photos.

No. That was a pie plate I just put into the sink. Update your LIDAR.

My bad for not clarifying, I need this guy. Part number is 62 16 1 459 565. I'm having intermittent fuel pump issues and I'm pretty sure it's at the fuel level sender pass through.

I would check the 4-pin connector first.

OK. To me it looks like a marshmallow, and a medium-sized one at that. If rbm says it's a large ping pong ball instead of a marshmallow, send me your PayPal address.

Gave em a good wiggle and they've also already been replaced with 4 pin trailer style connectors. I should pull the float and check it for continuity and resistance.
-
4 pin configuration on the male end of the Petrol Gauge Level Sender
1.Brown-is ground continuity to the larger diameter ring terminal
2.Green-is 12V continuity to the smaller diameter ring terminal
3.Yellow-is fuel level
4.White-is 4 litre reserve indicator
Remove the ring terminals from the fuel pump to perform the continuity test

It's settled then. You owe me a latte. I want one with a fried egg floating in it like yours. I'll be in touch. :giggles
