Those mirrors are very common in Australia (Southern Hemisphere part 112-3764-09562).

Looks like stock mirrors mounted upside down.

Pristine?   I don’t think the words “pristine” and “custom” go together.   Let me check ol’ Webby:

pristine
adjective
pris·tine | \ ˈpri-ˌstēn  , pri-ˈstēn, especially British ˈpri-ˌstīn\
Definition of pristine
1 : belonging to the earliest period or state : ORIGINAL
the hypothetical pristine lunar atmosphere

Huh.  Well, lookie there.  So, another way of saying that might be “definitely not custom”.

Oh and also, "pristine" doesn't mean what he thinks it means.

There might be swabs affixed to each side of the moto to clean them on contact.

it never rains in Chicago, so no need for a front fender.

I have to admit that I'm surprised to see such interest in cafe style K bikes. Is it a "look at me I'm really different" type of thinking? There's so many other bikes that pull off a cafe style better, more plentiful and cheaper.

It's a "I want to be different just like you" type of thinking.

I have to disagree. When a custom or café K bike is done properly it can look great and there are plenty of builds here to support that (there are also some monsters lol). But it has to be planned and finished to count as customised. Taking the side panels off and changing the speedo and headlight isn't a café. Having said that at $900 for a 17000 mile k75 seems a bargain. Especially as it could be either customised properly or put back to stock at a fairly low cost.
What does seem wrong is when some of the rarer K Bikes are cut up. It only de-values them.

At the end of the day it means less K bikes are getting scrapped meaning that manufacturers will continue to make parts for both stock and custom owners.

My build was an unloved LT and now it's loved again and in use. Where's the harm in that.

It does seem a bargain for low mileage parts, especially for good drivelines, fuel tanks and engines.

There is zero harm in how you remodeled your moto, Skunky. It is well done, attractive and practical. It's a far cry from a posermoto, although DJ's is also a far cry, too but he poses with it anyway. :giggles

Customization and the shedding of parts is the law of the jungle made industrial—some must be eaten so that others may live. :oldguy:
