Have corresponded with Ted Porter about the EI drive shaft for 20 spline. It's a contracted item, and his provider needs a "substantial" order to make it worthwhile. There's a redesign intended, but no info on what this means...improving an improved product, or fixing a fail.
#1, Has anyone seen, fondled, caressed, diddled, or otherwise had an EI shaft in their sweaty hands?
#2, If so, was it of reasonable use, or superior quality to OEM?
#3, Would there be any interest in a group order, if these are legit replacements?
Alternative is still with Motobins and a local machinist route, ending up around $150.00
Just thinking for the future need. Cheers
