I realize that the side-stand switch is an important safety feature. But, sometimes you just wish to be able to run the engine while on the stand.
Looking at the connector at the right rear of the fuel tank I found the perfect thing to short the two pins, a wide female blade connector. The sort of thing used to connect the Zener diode on a British bike.

Thanks for the great idea, Blitz! You have me thinking now how to retrofit the K75 clutch activated sidestand retractor to my '91 K100RS. I feel another winter project coming on.
