Hi guys I'm afraid its time for another strange question. As per some porevious posts, I've got my brick in opieces at the moment to fix the main seal that is leaking but I'm missing the thrust washer that should go on the engine side of the clutch carrier. Anyone know which thickness is the right one to go for? I have currently got on order the 1.25 mm one as I'm guessing that fits with the later seal spec post 97 but does anyone have the answer as to how to work out which is the right one? Both 1mm and 1.25 are listed in the fiche
Thanks in advance
Andy

You could check here, I think. Just put each part # in the box and see which fits your bike.

Good morning; I just read through your previous posts and WOW you got a lot going on ! I have an early 85 k100rs last winter I did a rear mainseal job, read the manual , read the forums and swore it did not have the spacer, told myself it wasn't in there aint going back in. Finally comes reassembly day , and BAM there it is still stuck to the back of clutch carrier, right where it belongs. So take a really close look! I knew for sure I was the first one in this far, but you say your seal was torn, is it original style seal or was it replaced earlier? GOOD LUCK!!

I wondered at first if it was lurking but definitely not. This will be this bikes 3rd clutch in its life which is a reflection on how a lot of police riders ride them for escort work which is ride it iin 3rd and slip the clutch!
