Gents, once again I would like some input.
Doing the rebuild on my special and I am stuck on an issue. On removal of the old swing arm bearings I had to wreck the grease retaining cups to get the bearings out. In my Clymer manual it clearly shows these cups in the diagram. On ALL K75 diagrams on REALOMBMW there are NO such cups showing however, see attached diagram of a R100 showing these cups. The bearing has the same part number (R100) as the K75 so I would presume the cup is same same. My dealer which I use for parts is asking for a chassis number which I can't give him cus engine is from a different bike for BMW to reference. [ Invalid Attachment ] [ Invalid Attachment ]
It would seem that BMW techs these days can't be arsed with small time enquiries on these older bikes for the enthusiast or they just haven't got the experience which is why Motobrick is a God Send...!!!!
