Title: dual scythe suspension
Post by: DRxBMW on October 13, 2011, 07:52:43 PM
The 4-wheeled motorcycle? NO, this is not an ATV: Japanese "Tesseract" is a unique dual scythe suspension system, allowing this sleek machine to lean into turns like a motorcycle:

You got to admit, the Tesseract does look BAD Ass !

Don't hold your breath on this one - four years so far since the concept was released :-)

I spotted an MP3 dozen cars ahead on the ride to work this morning. What first drew my attention was a way big windshield reached two feet higher than the rider's head -- so high that if floopped in the breeze -- apparently, this rider does not like wind. As I got close, I spotted the two wheels in front. Tried to get up beside, but I was aboard the KLR, traffic was heavy, and I only had a half mile... so, worked my way up behind but not beside. They are a pretty neat scooter. Piaggio gets a ton of power out of a little engine. Loads of storage. Trick suspension puts lots of weight up high, though; so doing that both fore and aft would make for a whole lot of mechanism up in the air. Hate to get loose ball joints.
