Parked my K75c. Went to start it and the key will go to the off and park position, but won't go to the run position. ??????

this will be good.......
ahhh fresh meat

If you already have sprayed some light lubricant into the keyway, worked the key back and forth in it, tried wiggling the key lightly while turning it, then you'll need to investigate deeper. Here are two posts to start the investigation—this one (http://www.eilenberger.net/K75S/IgnitionSwitch/) and this other one (http://www.motobrick.com/index.php?topic=11172.0).

"this will be good.......ahhh fresh meat" Well, that was helpful.

Thanks for the links Laitch . I'll try that.

please forgive me punchesdfw
you will find that intermingled throughout this forum there is often a hint of light hearted sarcasm that should be taken as it is intended , with humor.... if possible. or disregarded out of hand completely.
a great many topics have already been asked, answered and argued by members previously and often the answer you may be seeking can be found by entering some key words in the "search" box, top left.
the more reading you can do of these previous posts the more enlightened you will become grasshopper

I "searched" and didn't find an answer. Over the past 40-years I've owned everything BMW from a 2002 to an M3. An R50/2 to a K1. So, this isn't my first rodeo. Grasshopper? I think not. I asked a simple question and asked for an answer, not "light hearted sarcasm" as you suggest. Anyway, after following the suggestions made by Laitch with no joy, it appears I'll be buying a new ignition.

thats excellent

You disassembled and inspected the ignition switch? What did you discover—a terminal condition? :hehehe
