Easy to make with basic tools vice, hacksaw, files and electric drill and material costs probably $2.00.

Interesting.  Does the lever sit on the grip or on the throttle tube itself?

I had a Flip A Lever once upon a time on a couple of my earlier K100RS's and it worked like a charm.  Would like to find another if possible.

If no one has an extra laying around I may have to try your idea.  Just bend the aluminum in a vise?

Moppy it sits on the grip. I have made one for a mates bike with rubber grips with the large inner flange. I had to carefully reduce the size of the flange. I then carefully smoothed it down on a bench grinder fitted with a belt sander and used a lighter to burn off the daggy bits. It's easy to activate and deactivate and have only had to tighten the screw 4 times in 18 years. if you require more piccies or measurements let me know. I made the first one as a test and once I made the first one it was easy after that. Aluminium angle is cheap and easy to work with so you can afford to play around  until you have what you want. Iv'e even made two without the thumb rests for guy's with big paws.
