Title: ignition switch: green/gray jumper okay?
Post by: schrocketeer on June 01, 2018, 12:49:43 AM
To get my 1985 K100RT taillight working, would there be a problem making a jumper between the green and all gray wire in the ignition switch?

I tried it with a test wire in the shop and it seemed to work okay, but I may be overlooking a consequence.

Have you power on gray/blue wire?

Following the links here, I ended up taking the key/ignition switch/lock apart, cleaned it up inside, and all is happy.
Thanks for the help. :-)
