My buddy, Chic, and I rode into the High Sierras to take advantage of some of the best weather and twistiest rodes available to us flatlanders. Sorry, K-Bikes did not accompany us. Just an old Boxer and an Italian scooter.
Courtwright Dam is at 8100 ft elevation, pretty much at the end of the road.

its still on my list there tt... perhaps next spring when the roads are wet n dirty...
the photos ive seen of that area show amazing sceenery...
