Hi. I’m still rather new to Motobrick. I hang my helmet in the Wild Wild West of Westminster Vt. I’ve had several motorcycles starting (as a late bloomer) with a Honda trail 90 in high school. Man that thing wasn’t very powerful, but it could go anywhere. My next bike was a Yamaha 350 two-stroke oil injection, rescued from someone’s field. That was a fast bike for me. Then I stepped up again in college to a Triumph 650 Tiger. From there I had a long sabbatical Divorce, many years, remarry, kids and finally after 15 years got another bike a Honda again. This time a V4 Magna. We had a lot of fun with that, not as solid as the Triumph, but fun nonetheless. Then a solenoid/ electrical problem left me broken down. Unfortunately funding wouldn’t allow repair. Then, the love of my motorcycle life came along. I traded another vehicle, and brought my ‘85 K100 into my life. Not yet ridden it (heck, haven’t even started it yet) but I’m looking forward to it with great anticipation.
I am a Weldor/blacksmith Metal fabricator sculptor Father Husband and admitted toolaholic. I enjoy creating art and tools and jigs and working on old machines in my metal shop making anything from sculptures and garden art to architectural ironwork and household ornamental utilitarian ironwork and welding fabrication and repair. Glad to be here. Thanks for having me. - Jon

Please post some photos of your bike in all its feathered glory. It will also help if you include your bike's model and year in the Bikes: section of your forum profile. It will then show up in every post and those who might want to help you won't need to backtrack to figure it out.

Welcome, I've ridden a number of motorcycles over the years and find my K75 one of the most enjoyable.
You will find answers to most of the maintenance and repair questions here; the collective knowledge and experience of our members make this the best place for motobrickers.
I hope to be traveling your way this summer to visit my sister-in-law in West Chesterfield NH and ride around New England.
