As the title says, I am looking for an operational drum brake final drive and driveshaft for an '87 K75C.

Here's a place to start (https://www.ebay.com/itm/1990-85-93-BMW-K75S-K75-REAR-FINAL-DRIVE-DIFFERENTIAL-HUB-ASSEMBLY-OEM-GOOD-COND/323227349985?hash=item4b41d9f3e1:g:3owAAOSwLfNa1NKQ&vxp=mtr) but the photos should include a clear shot facing directly at the splined shaft.

Laitch,
I saw the same unit yesterday but it's not drum brake 😣
I've been looking through eBay and other BMW sites and can't find squat...

Have you done any searches under BMW K100 Final drive? They are interchangeable.
The problem is that the drum brake final drives are from the oldest bricks and probably have large amounts of miles on them which means more wear.

Yea, I have been looking at those too but again they are mostly drum versions :(
I actually put the bike back together today with really bad splines and rode around town with no problems. Im just looking to sell it at this point since i just bought a new F800R and kinda need the garage space :)

you can ride fine indefinitely with bad splines until they go, then that's it. I'd sell it with the caveat that the splines are marginal.

I agree. I'd really like to fix it right though. The bike is a really good runner besides the splines.
