I purchased dual filament turn signals to install on my K100. I had the intention of wiring them up so that they would function as running lights and turn signals. Looking at my K100RT signals, they only have two terminals so I don’t think they functioned as running lights from the factory. Can anyone advise me how to wire up my signals? Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance not accepted.

Bear in mind.... these were not originally wired for dual element lamps for a reason. HEAT. I'd consider LED running lights(or combination LED lamps) if you want to go that route, else be prepared for misshapen plastic lenses from the heat of standard lamps.

My K75RT has dual filament bulbs in the turn signals front and back and after 30,000 miles they still haven't melted.

More for you to ponder, before you get a ticket(or a warning at the least), or a failed inspection.......
Any rear facing running light cannot be any color other than RED.
I have RED led's mounted in my rear signal housings. They glow red(even behind the orange lens) when on and the amber turn lighting is visible when activated.
I used these:

I also have 1 of these LightBlazer's on one of my bikes:

Has anyone used the front “parking lamp bulb” wiring to hook up running lights?
I removed my fairing and noticed that bulb on my wiring harness.
I like the Run-n-lites but I also like the idea of using an existing feature that’s part of the existing wiring harness.

The parking lamp bulb is where mine are connected.
