Title: K100 LT Crash bar mounting.

Has anyone managed to repair the right lower crash bar mounting. It seems impossible to find her in the UK. The rubber part has come unstuck leaving the front vibrating away.
The part number is 46712303068Thanks in advance for your help

What could be done is grind all the rubber away, drill a hole where the stud should be and use a bolt and a thick rubber washer.

That's my first thought and not looking at the part and mounting.

I had them break loose tearing a big hole in the fairing when the bike just got knocked off it's stand in the garage. All they do is add a couple hundred bucks to the damage for those stupid mounts that cost $42 each.

They are also good mounting points for my aux. driving lights.

Ditto on that one. I went down on a slick wet dirt road a while back. The break away guards did more damage to the fairing than anything the road did! :falldown: I left um off.

Now, on the other side of the coin, I've tipped mine over more that once and the bars did prevent further fairing damage. YMMV
