Hi guys, future K75 owner here looking for some help on what model to buy. I'm thinking k75 or k75s because I prefer the disc brakes. Suspension isn't a big factor because I'd be upgrading it anyway. I was originally looking at the k75s but i noticed the front fairing actually houses the instrument cluster. Not sure how much of a task it would be for me to remove the fairing but keep the cluster.
Thus, I started looking at the K75 version. I like how the instrument cluster is not separated from the fork/bars. One thing I wanted the s model for is the belly pan fairing. If I buy a k75, does the belly pan fairing from an s model fit on the k75 with no mods needed? If yes then I think that would be my best bet since buying an s would be pointless if I removed most of the features.

If no, it would still be your best bet, if your intention is to ever have a K to ride without sacrificing good sense for artistic vision.

I guess youryo right and I guess I also asked for that exact response. Actually thinking about it, it sounds silly to even consider an S.
That being said, any idea if there belly pan fairing will fit the k75?
Will be looking for the K75 but I guess it depends on what pops up for sale in my area.

Get a K75RT in Mystic Red so I can have the lower fairings and the mirrors.
-
Get one with ABS I can use the ECU for one of mine.
-
Ks weren't cafes, so your questions are moot.

Cafe -"ish" was the emphasis. I don't like them stoppeds completely form. I'd be keeping abs, original cluster, and also like the lower fairing.
If I'm rich one day, I'll buy all the suggested models and ship each of you the parts you need.

Price, availability and condition are probably more important than the model. Hopefully if you're going to cut one up it's too far gone to be worth restoring. That said a K75C would be your best bet, it only needs an "afe"

How much money have you estimated it will take to buy the foundation bike to create your Ish-bike?

Of all the eggos, the sandy ones are probably the least popular.
$2500 to $3000
You should be able to find a good runner at that price if you're seriously on the hunt.

I don't like runner eggos. Especially sandy ones.
