My backlighting on my dashboard is dying; all but one bulb has gone out. I have found this website that purports to sell an LED upgrade kit, but I've sent 2 emails and heard no reply after over a month: http://www.kbikeparts.com/ledupgrade.htm
Does anyone know the size of the OEM dash bulbs so I can find a suitable replacement on my own? Any lettering on the OEM bulbs is illegible, and the replacement bulb I ordered via the part number is not green tinted like the ones I found in my dash, and isn't labeled with size/wattage.

Go here (https://shop.maxbmw.com/fiche/DiagramsMain.aspx?vid=51739&rnd=07242017). Click on Instruments Dash then click on the Single Components diagram. You'll get a parts list with descriptions.

Thanks, I found what I needed there. The bulb type is "W3W" and it's 12V, 3W. I found a green led equivalent pack of 10 for $6 by googling "w3w equivalent".
Word of warning to anyone else trying to replace bulbs- the green OEM bulbs are NLA, as indicated on Max's site, and when I tried to order some from Max a while back, they sent me the "superseded by" part, the non-tinted bulbs.

Search: silicone coloured bulb caps.

I get mine from SuperBrightLEDs.com

I have used the green, red and blue colors in my bikes, and they work great.

Many years ago I owned a '62 GT Hawk (Studebaker) which had red dash lights. I could have sworn they were coated with nail polish ...

If you have to have the green OEM bulbs, I have a handful from the clusters I relit with LED's. You can have them for the cost to mail them.
