Honda makes SS-8 10wt oil and SS-7 5wt oil. Can I mix them to come up with a 7.5wt for my 85 100RT? If Honda made a 7.5wt fork oil I’d be all over it.

Yes if they are the same ingredients, it can be a bit dicey if mixing different brands. Sometimes different brands don't seem to mix well.

Or just go to WallyMart and buy a quart of ATF. I use the synthetic all purpose stuff.
If you don't like the way it works, drain it and use the fancy "official" fork oil. No harm done, you will have conditioned your seals and flushed the dirt out with the ATF.

Thanks for the tip! [emoji106]
I have three bottles of unused Honda ATF sitting in my garage.
