I have a 1987 k75, is the driveshaft the same or interchangeable with other models as well? Like can most years of the K75 work with it, can K100 driveshafts go in there? The splines on mine are shot on the final drive end.

Your bike should have a 20-tooth drive shaft. Does it? Better count them. You never know when someone has done a retrograde refit. If it does have 20 teeth, any 20-tooth monolever driveshaft should work.
-
I just checked: on the final drive end it has 20 teeth. On the U-joint side (connecting to the transmission) it has 16 (if i counted correctly).
If that's still the case, literally any year/model drive shaft will work with mine as long as the final drive end has 20 teeth and trans side is 16?

Count them up again.

Confirmed. 16 on the gearbox end, 20 on final drive.

It cannot be characterized as literally any. :giggles It simply needs to be from a monolever bike and mate with a 20-tooth rear drive spline.

Shoot. Monolever is rear disc brake models right? I have rear drum brake.

No, monolever is the drivetrain design used on K-bikes from inception to about 1992. Paralever was introduced around that time and continued through the classic K-bike series (K1, K100-4V and K1100). Drum or disk - the same drive shaft can be used.
