Title: Poas Volcano 12-17
Post by: Filmcamera on December 17, 2017, 11:54:20 AM
This morning I took a ride through the twisties to Poas Volcano.. well at least I tried to .  I got with in 5 miles and found the way barred and the road closed because the volcanoe was erupting and emitting lots of noxious gasses.

The closed road was protected by one of Santa's elves and a fake old Army Jeep - only in Costa Rica.

It was a lovely ride and great views. The bikes is still running a little rough at times (though the fact that I ended up at over 7,000 feet might have had something to do with that) but all in all doing great!

This is the route I took tracked on Rever

Is there a better way to de-stress than a couple of hours of fun solo riding on a Sunday morning?
