After a year of searching, I finally bought a 1993 K75 with 46K miles. Although it is a "plain" model, it seems to have the "C" type fairing/windshield which I thought BMW had discontinued in about 1990 on the K75. Is this correct? This will be my ride to Prudhoe Bay next spring. Besides doing a complete front to back service on it, I would like to add a rack on the back for my stuff and a "throttle screw" or some kind of cruise control. A source these items or any comments would be appreciated?
Thanks for reading,
Dan

Welcome to the asylum. See here for throttle lock http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,7822.msg56073.html#msg56073 I had one of those screw types and found to too awkward to use especially with gloves.
Regards Martin.

Welcome Dan! Very nice brick you've acquired there...
My throttle lock is screw/cam style. It works very well and is easy to operate.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170927/8bbab57ecb5d841675d2f40a1b81a8ed.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170927/f7a5fa58c7565498bc3b8667f8bd1927.jpg)

That is a Schneider Flip-a-lever.

Welcome Dan. Nice find, I like the color. :2thumbup: The blue goes good with black accessories. It would seem that you have the low version given the surround at the bottom edge of the tank where it meets the seat. Enjoy!

I wouldn't mind trying your throttle screw if you still want to sell it. My address is Dan Kirby, PO BOX 243, BATTLE CREEK, NE 68715.
Thanks,
Dan
