Title: K100LT Progressive Fork Springs
Post by: dave33333 on August 19, 2017, 12:37:55 AM
I have a 87 K100LT that I think has sport suspension but I'm not sure.  The attached pic of the top of the fork has a "S" stamped into it.  Can anyone confirm if I have a sports suspension?  Also, the Clymer manual lists 290ML of fork oil for a fork change is you have a sport suspension and 360ML if you have a standard suspension.  If i'm replacing the existing springs with new Progressive 11-1126 springs do I add 290ML of forok oil or 360ML?  thanks

Yes it is a Sport fork.  F&S sport fork only had dampening in the left leg. Other visual clues is a two piece front fender with fork brace.

Fill capacity is 280ml
