Hey everyone-
Just bought my first K bike a few days ago and am happy I did. I've been riding on and off since 1987, starting with a 1975 CB750, then 1979 Yamaha XS1100. I've had three Moto Guzzi's (all of them 850T-3's) and my last bike was a 1971 CT90 with a Lifan 110cc clone engine. I LOVED that bike. I want another. I'm not a mechanic but I'm able to do basic brake work and maybe service the forks and head bearings.
I'll try to keep my questions focused and will use the search bar, although I sometimes fail the search bar. I need to learn to figure out which key words work best.
Anyways, my first job will be removing the wheels and getting new shoes. The tires date back 10-12 years(!). I'd like to give it a tune, change all the fluids, bleed the brakes, etc. I'm also over at K100-forum as mattsuede. If you're in the Portland area, I'd love to meet up with other brickheads.

Forget Photobucket, it's costly and not reliable. Download them directly from your computer to your post in MOTOBRICK.COM using the Attachments and other options feature below the reply box in your posts here, or try Imgur.

Welcome to the asylum from the land of OZ. We don't see many 75C's around in OZ.
Regards Martin.

Yay! I got my front tire yesterday. Only bummer is, I only got the front. I hope the other arrives today so I can get them mounted today.
Oh- and the rear shock: is this a good upgrade or not? It appears to be older, but seems to be working well and isn't wet anywhere. Only thing is, it seems to look compressed a little when unloaded.

Shock is a Fox Twin Clicker. I have them on two of my bricks. Very nice units!

I got a twin clicker too. Advanced in its day, probably ahead of some today. Fully adjustable compression and rebound, with IIRC, 8 clicks compression and 24 rebound, or visa versa. And you can dial in ride height to yer weight with the spring screw. FWIW, two cents. Can be rebuilt, very good unit, NLA. Cheers.
