Do you have a link to where you ordered that seat? Looks really good.

Seat is 100% custom.  I laid fiberglass and built the shape, then took it to a metal fabricator who welded final and hand-stitched the seat.

Wow, somebody got a great deal I think :)

I started riding superbikes in 1977. GS750, windjammer. Always liked the boxers and even more as I aged. But honestly I never craved a K100 RS when they were new or the 75s (never even knew the difference till they were old). I was curious about K motors, but most of us thought the bikes were butt ugly. Your bike, Andrew, looks fantastic in my opinion.

Recently, since I inherited one, I'm starting to appreciate the stock looks a bit, :)

I'm going to ride mine as a stocker till I can learn it. Then maybe I will "ruin" it.

What BNB and his like don't really get, the K mod scene is a celebration. It's as if the K's took over the bike world and the "brick" moved every style of bike. The stock RS body work hide most of the K motor. That's the heart of the beast. I'd better there are plenty of BMW engineers tickled at this new parade of 4 on the side, in modern lingerie
;)
