Title: Modifying the kickstand
Post by: Altevogt on July 05, 2017, 01:10:55 PM
When I got my 1991 K100 LT located in Edwardsville, KS the kickstand had been bent a little in the middle, outwards and a couple of pads added to it on the bottom of the foot. All was well until my mechanic straighten things out and now I get a lot of scraping when I do left turns. The question is what is the best way to modify it so the kickstand does not scrape on left turns?

I think attaching some photos taken at different angles of the stand extended and retracted would help here.

OK, I'll give it a shot.
