!st time I've done it this way, I like it. I got no fancy changers, just some tire irons (and jorgensen clamps to break the bead) The tire didn't exactly fall off the rim but damn near, used an iron just to slip a couple inches of both beads at once over the rim and that was it. Remounting went about the same. The ties are 24" HF, 10 for $1.69. This was on my stepson's Honda but should work with any tubeless MC tire. Much less sweating and cussing, for me anyway

Good post, I have seen it done but I had forgotten about it. It got lost in the dark recesses of my mind. I'll probably remember it for another 12 months now.
Thanks Martin.

How tight did you do up those cable ties?
I have fairly fresh rubber on both front and back, but now I feel like trying this.... Guess I better get riding then! 😁
Thanks for sharing!

I was able to get them tight enough to get the beads touching each other by compressing the tire with my knees.

Thanx for the reminder. Gonna do it next time. Tired of busted knuckles, knees, irons, rims, trying to change a tire. So simple, so cheap.

Thanks for sharing Chaos. Work smarter, not harder, as "they" say. :euro

I built a tire machine but those Shinko Tour Masters are rigid and tough to move as desired. I'll have to try this and see how it goes. Thanks for the idea.
